27th Annual NASPP Conference
September 16-19, 2019 in New Orleans


The deadline for submission of proposals for the 27th Annual NASPP Conference is Friday, March 8, 2019. All proposals must be received by 11:59 pm PT on this date.

The NASPP Annual Conference is the premier event for stock plan professionals, and typically draws nearly 2000 attendees. It is a great opportunity to showcase your expertise, catch up on current hot topics in executive and stock compensation, make connections with industry insiders, and meet prospective clients and business partners.

The 27th Annual NASPP Conference will be held September 16-19, 2019, in New Orleans.

REQUESTING TWO TYPES OF PROPOSALS

Power Sessions: Fast-paced talks on topics that can be covered in 25 minutes.

  • We recommend a maximum of one or two speakers for these sessions.
  • We will accept about 20 of these proposals.
  • Most of these panels will be scheduled for September 19. Audiences will be smaller for these sessions (about 20-40 people) and each session will be repeated several times.
  • A few of these sessions may be scheduled for the Presentation Arena on September 17 and 18; audiences will be larger in the Presentation Arena and these sessions will not be repeated.

Traditional 60-Minute Panels: Standard break-out panels that are 60 minutes in length.

  • A maximum of three panelists is recommended. We do not accept soloists for these sessions.
  • These panels will be scheduled for September 17 and 18. Audience size can vary from 50 to over 200 attendees.
  • We will acept about 35 of these proposals.
  • Presentations that include company case studies and a representative from the studied company are encouraged.
  • Interactive components such as audience discussion topics, polls, games, Q&A, etc. are encouraged.

Any one company can submit a maximum of two proposals for Power Sessions and three proposals for traditional 60-minute panels.

REQUESTING INTERACTIVE PROPOSALS

New this year, the NASPP is planning a track of traditional 60-minute sessions that will be highly interactive. We are particularly interested in panels that include group activities, small group discussions, games, and other audience participation components.

Please refer to our Top Ten Tips for Creating a Successful Proposal for helpful information on how to increase the chance of your proposal being accepted. For all proposals, we are most interested in presentations that focus on practical guidance.

SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL

All proposals must be submitted via this website by Friday, March 8, 2019. We begin evaluating proposals as soon as the submission period closes, so we cannot make any exceptions to this deadline, no matter how dire the circumstances. We encourage you to plan accordingly.

Key things to know about submitting a proposal:

  • No more than two people from the same company can present on one panel.
  • Proposals that include NASPP members receive preference.
  • Use this Speaking Proposal Questionnaire to gather the required information needed to submit your proposal(s).

PROPOSAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Exhibitors for this year's or last year's Conference are eligible for proposal assistance and are strongly encouraged to participate in this program. Note, however, that participation in the NASPP's Proposal Assistance Program does not replace the need to formally submit your proposals through the NASPP Proposal Submission Website.
